A safe and healthy community for all
Squamish Helping Hands Society is a charitable organization that provides food, shelter, and a community of supports to adults experiencing homelessness or who are at-risk of homelessness.
Join us for our 2nd Annual Coldest Night of the Year!
Start/Finish: Junction Park
When: Saturday February 22th, 2025
Time: 5:00pm-7:00pm
Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly, winterrific 2-5km fundraising walk in support of Squamish Helping Hands Society.
The money we raise will provide shelter to at-risk individuals and put nutritious food into the hands of men, women, children and seniors threatened by homelessness and poverty. That means we will provide warm beds, hot meals, school breakfasts and lunches and community food hampers to our community’s most vulnerable.
This is our second year taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year. In 2024, Squamish raised an impressive $83,097 - four times the national average for a first year location! Squamish was recognized nationally for its efforts and we can’t wait to show the country what this small town with a big heart can do the second time around.
This year we're aiming for $150,000, but we can't do it without your help!
